Sports Premium Funding Breakdown 2024-25
This school academic year 2024/25 we will receive £21,960 (£16000 plus £10 for every child) to:
- Develop the PE and sport activities that Birkby Junior School already offers.

- For the in-school sports coach to support pupils in leading an active and healthy lifestyle, supported by the involvement of parents, extra-curricular activity and targeting of the less active pupils.
- Utilising the Pennine Sports Partnership to provide all children with the opportunity to take part in both inter-school and intra-school sporting competitions. To also use PSP to improve school’s core services in PE and sport.
